I have done this activity with help from family and friends in the West Baltimore neighborhood aka SOWEBO on Memorial Day weekend for seven years. Hundreds have been made.
A pyramid of Painted Paper Twists was transported on foot in a wagon 5.5 miles from Arbutus to Artscape ’06.
As a participant of “Autoeternative,” sponsored by The American Visionary Art Museum, it was pulled by the artist and his daughter, Rose, to the event on Saturday, July 22nd, 2006. Laura and Joh also attended the parade as vehicle support. Partners make this task possible. As a two-person activity the physical actions required become feasible.
Within a workshop instructors and volunteers will provide the needed assistance.
